Draft: Test fix for TestUserShader2D against master branch

!11061 (merged) has the fix for TestUserShader2D. Although, it is based off paraview/release. This MR is to ensure that the fix works against the master branch as well. !11061 (merged) backports paraview/release because the commit which introduced this particular unit test (!11040 (merged)) was also backported.
