vtkImagePlaneWidget in VTK Version 5.0
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
There seem to be some problem with the vtkImagePlaneWidget in VTK Version 5.0 and higher. The attached python script is basically an adaption of the Examples/GUI/Python/ImagePlaneWidget.py modified to take in data directly from a python Numeric array and modified to use the Qt Widget library. It runs fine with VTK4.4. A screen shot of the differences between V5(left side of screen as seen by the user) and V4.4 (right side of screen) is available at ftp://ftp.drao.nrc.ca/pub/twillis/vtkImagePlaneWidget_bug.png
If you select the Z representation, zoom in a bit (move right mouse button from botton to top) and then left click on the display's green rectangle at (1,1,9) or (1.2,9) you should get a value of 0.45 and left clicking in the area to the left or below the green rectangle should give 0, but in the VTK 5 version it reports values of 0.45 if you click close to the left of the green rectangle or below it gives 0.45, despite the display's being blue there which should indicate zero. Also its quite clear that the green rectangle which should cover 2 of the 3 pixels in the Y direction, covers less than that - and thats also true in the X direction (should have 1/6 of the width).
