vtkTesting.interact doesn't work with vtkpython.
When running a VTK python test interactively, some tests call vtkTesting.interact(), which prints a message to the console
Press Enter/Return to continue with the testing. -->
Nothing happens after pressing Enter.
I've found this smaller example to show the inconsistency of input
with vtkpython
vs python
. See how vtkpython
doesn't recognize that Enter
was pressed. I had to Ctrl+C my way out.
9:58:53 $ cat test.py
input("Press Enter/Return")
print("Enter/Return was pressed")
9:58:57 $ ./bin/vtkpython test.py
Press Enter/Return
^C
9:59:08 $ python3 test.py
Press Enter/Return
Enter/Return was pressed
