Object not rendering when camera position is `(0, 1000, 0)`
I was messing with the Python STL Example and was moving the camera position around to view the object from multiple angles. My object is centered at the origin and I'm using vtkCamera.SetPosition()
to move the camera, setting its focal point afterward with vtkCamera.SetFocalPoint()
. I found that for whatever reason, setting the camera position to (0, 1000, 0)
makes the object fail to render. (1000, 0, 0)
, (0, 0, 1000)
both work fine, and when I adjust one of the x/z coordinates to be slightly greater than 0 (i.e. (0, 1000, 0.00001)
) then the object renders. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong here or if it's some error in the linear algebra of the source code somewhere. I'm going to post my code in a comment below!
