time-step resolution in vtkParticlePathFilter

I am using the vtkParticlePathFilter in order to generate pathlines. My data set is composed of T timesteps and the output of the filter generates polylines having at most T points of length. Is there any option to force the filter to generate pathline from t0 to tT and interpolating between time-step, something like a resolution between original time-steps?
I have obtained the desired result by changing the TerminationTime and invoking Update inside a loop but this break the logic of the program as I have to track the Modified state of the filter in my program in order to re-generate the pathline invoking the loop.

Pathline_LowResolution.png: is the result of setting SetTerminationTime(tT);
Pathline_HighResolution.png: is the result of looping over internal timesteps and setting SetTerminationTime(ti) + Update()
