Fix compiler warnings
Realized that I didn't suppress deprecation warnings and didn't notice until I got a cdash email notifying me of dashboard warnings. There's also a few other non-deprecation related warnings fixed as well.
System updates will be applied on Nov 27th between 7am and 9am, EST (UTC-05:00). This site will have intermittent downtime during that time.
