1) I added my changes for 2.2.2 to the release notes. I also added a bullet
   for the correction Rich Cook made to the Miranda reader yesterday.

2) I updated the month on the splash screen.

3) I updated the version number from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 in the INSTALL_NOTES
   and the build_visit script.

4) I modified the script that runs the regression suite to work with the
   2.2RC instead of the 2.0RC.
