Only Snowleopard requires Qt 4.7 See http://doc.trolltech.com/4.6-snapshot/developing-on-mac.html For Mac OS X 10.6, Apple has started recommending developers to build their applications 64-bit. The main reason is that there is a small speed increase due to the extra registers on Intel CPU's, all their machine offerings have been 64-bit since 2007, and there is a cost for reading all the 32-bit libraries into memory if everything else is 64-bit. If you want to follow this advice, there is only one choice, 64-bit Cocoa. git-svn-id: http://svn.slicer.org/Slicer4/trunk@13589 3bd1e089-480b-0410-8dfb-8563597acbee
