Ruler set font size

Change the ruler source's axis label font size so that it can be controlled by the user in the properties panel.

Hopefully I made this branch right... I think I did what Ben explained for updating a submodule on both release and master (unfortunately this is needed, it won't compile without the update and I don't want to break master completely).
