File series reader always adds time, even for one file

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

When loading a file through the file series reader like the native VTK files, time is always reported regardless of whether it makes sense. If you are really only reading in one file, and that file has no time associated with it, then there is no point in actually reporting time. In fact, it has negative effects on the animation functions that want to use that time for the time range.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
