Red view border turns black

On my Unix compile, when I run ParaView and connect back to either my Windows or Mac OS X machine (running an X-host server) that red border around the active view keeps turning black every time I interact with the view.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
