paraview.util.Glob function not consistent with documentation
This will not work(The files variable is empty, it can not find /can_0.cgns because the path is incorrect) This is also how it is explained it in the documentation section 2.2.1.
import paraview.util
files = paraview.util.Glob(path = "can_*.cgns", rootDir = “/path/to/files/“)
reader = OpenDataFile(files)
Here are a couple of variation that do work:
import paraview.util
dirPath = '/path/to/data/‘
fileNames = paraview.util.Glob(path = dirPath + 'can_*.cgns’)
reader = CGNSSeriesReader(FileNames=fileNames)
import paraview.util
files = paraview.util.Glob(path = “/path/to/dir/can_*.cgns”)
reader = OpenDataFile(files)
Either the documentation needs to be changed, or the underlying code.
