Material Editor: the shaderball doesn't have the material applied on it for the first time in the release
With the latest release available on the website, the shaderball doesn't have the default material applied on it:
when changing the current material, it doesn't automatically update the texture attached to the shaderball:
Actually a workaround would be to create a dummy material, then the shaderball will works as expected (material selected will be automatically applied).
To reproduce this issue:
- download the latest version of paraview on the website
- activate the material editor (
View > Material Editor
) - click on
Show Shader Ball
- the
Checker_Alpha
material isn't applied
