Separate opacity array using same array and range as color mapping array gives different rendering results
ParaView master 5.11.1-1079-g1bb879ec:
- Add Wavelet source
- Change representation to Volume
- Color by RTData (should be done automatically)
- Open Color Map Editor
- Click the button to the left of Opacity. You will now be invoking the separate opacity map option, but using the same data array.
The rendering changes. It looks like there is more opacity when the separate opacity array option is on, even for the same opacity map and same data range for the opacity map.
The issue is not specific to using the same array, it is just easy to see this way. Using any separate array will result in unexpected opacities.
