Data Extractor -csv output includes unnecessary quotes
When using the Data Extractor to produce csv files, the first line is the header line, which is a list of all the variable names. The issue here is that most of the names are in double quotes, but there are instances where some of them are not. For example:
Tested with MacOSx86 Paraview v5.11.1 master.
- Open can.ex2; Apply
- Select Extractors->Data->csv
- Select Add Time Step and Add Time checkboxes within the properties panel.
- Select File->Save Extracts
- select OK
Here are the top few lines that are present within the one of csv files that were produced by the steps above (I used a text editor to open the file).
TimeStep,Time,"ACCL:0","ACCL:1","ACCL:2","DISPL:0","DISPL:1","DISPL:2","Points:0","Points:1","Points:2","VEL:0","VEL:1","VEL:2","ids" 1,0.00010007,-1.9155e+07,9.8999e+05,-2.5791e+07,0.0071451,-0.13477,-0.27421,5.2071,-0.13477,-0.64921,-885.84,-2014.4,-4120.8,2 1,0.00010007,-2.3301e+07,-2.6685e+06,-2.5574e+06,0.0027091,-0.081624,-0.2724,5.1867,0.32636,-0.6474,-880.12,-1564.7,-3901,43
If you will notice the top line, both TimeStep and Time. (Which were selected via a checkbox in the properties panel) don't have double quotes around them. If I open the same data in Excel, the quotes are gone and the cell format for header line is the same for all the cells present.
The double quotes are not necessary and should be removed from the header line because the use of the quotes is inconsistent and serves no purpose.
