IOSS reader is failing reading timeseries files
The IOSS reader is failing when reading timeseries exodus files. The issue is it is only reading the files in the timeseries files, not the datasets in the timeseries files. Attached is a voodoo'd up example using the first two files from the g1s1 dataset. What works, but is not necessary, is found in all-files.ex-timeseries. All files are listed. What doesn't work, but should - and is actually the correct way to write timeseries files, is in first-files.ex-timeseries. Replicate as follows:
- 5.11.1, Linux, builtin server.
- Open dataset/g1s1-10fps.e.2.0. Advanced. Generate file ids. Apply.
- Paint by file_id. This is what we should have.
- Reset session.
- Open all-files.ex-timeseries. Advanced. Generate file ids. Apply.
- Paint by file_id. This is what we should have. However, this is not the correct way to create timeseries files.
- Reset session.
- Open first-files.ex-timeseries. Advanced. Generate file ids. Apply.
- Paint by file_id. We have only opened the 0th file of the dataset. This is incorrect.
