Paraview 5.10/5.11: Opening XDMF files on Windows stored in a WSL2 ext4 file system fails
Example file: data.zip
Paraview versions <= 5.9.1 on Windows can open the attached XDMF file (with the "XDMF Reader") even if it sits in a ext4 file volume in WSL2 that is mounted in Windows Explorer.
On Paraview 5.10 and 5.11 this fails with:
ERROR: In vtkXdmfReader.cxx, line 487
vtkXdmfReader (00000213D6172E70): Failed to read data.
ERROR: In vtkExecutive.cxx, line 741
vtkPVCompositeDataPipeline (00000213D5D122B0): Algorithm vtkFileSeriesReader (00000213D5903050) returned failure for request: vtkInformation (00000213B1799860)

Copying the data to a Windows file system enables Paraview 5.10 and 5.11 to correctly read the file but for Paraview <= 5.9.1 this was not necessary.
