Volume rendering is missing a render in parallel

ParaView is missng a render, remote server, when volume rendering. Here is how to replicate. Do EXACTLY like this.

  • Linux, master, remote server (I'm using 16 processes).
  • Load dataset WithoutInfinity.vts (from #16936). All vars on. Apply.
  • Now, without moving the mouse over the renderview window, change to painting by Scalars_. Do this in the upper toolbars (not the Properties tab). Slide over. Volume render.

Nothing shows up in the view. Mow, move the mouse across the view, and the volume rendered cube will appear.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
