Here is how to make the glyph filter not work correctly. The root problem is that the glyph filer/ Properties tab/ Glyph Data Range/ Minimum and Maximum are initialized to 0.0. The issue is that ParaView doesn't work correctly when we start Glyph with a timestep that doesn't have any range in the variables.

Here is how to replicate:

• 5.6.0 RC1, Linux, local server.
• Reset session.
• Open can.exo. All vars on. Apply.
• Glyph. Apply. (This will use ACCL for Scale and Orientation.)
• Move forward one timestep.

Notice that you have lots of glyphs all over the place. They should only be at the can/brick interface.

I'm not sure what the "correct thing" to do is.
