Global Field data not automatically propagated through pipeline

pv_insitu_00000.vtmpv_insitu_0_0_0.vtu

To reproduce:

  • With both attached files in same folder, Open the .vtm file with ParaView, Apply
  • Apply the resample to image filter
  • File -> Save Data...
  • Save as a .vti file
  • View in a text editor. The Field data values are not in the .vti file
