ParaView5.2 binary on Linux fails opening certain files

The following two files cannot be opened properly in the binary that is distributed on the paraview.org website: dump_chute.tar.gz The system this test has been performed on is a bulk standard Ubuntu 16.04 on an HP ProDesk 490 G2. If I open the file with the distributed binary, go to the second time step and rescale the data I get the following: Screenshot_from_2016-11-24_14-03-55 I also have the same version (5.2) compiled myself and there I get the proper output: Screenshot_from_2016-11-24_14-03-32 Note that the Spreadsheet view indicates that the file was correctly loaded and that all data is present in both cases.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
