Control points in transfer function editor not remembered correctly

When you delete a control point from a transfer function and then close and reopen the transfer function editor, the control point seems to resurrect itself. To replicate, do the following.

  1. Create a Wavelet source.
  2. Volume Render RTData.
  3. Open the Edit Color dialog box.
  4. Turn on advanced controls (if necessary).
  5. Add a control point (either color or transparency). Close the Edit Color dialog.
  6. Open the Edit Color dialog. Delete the control point just created.
  7. Close the Edit Color dialog.
  8. Open the Edit Color dialog. The control point is mysteriously back.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
