message is ambiguous on server close
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
The message written out by the client is unacceptably unclear and software-eze upon server close. Please print out something reasonable. For instance, when the server times out, I get the following on Linux:
ERROR: In /projects/viz/paraview/src/ParaView/3.98.1/ParaView3/VTK/Common/System/vtkSocket.cxx, line 572 vtkClientSocket (0x1e0f9310): Socket error in call to send. Broken pipe.
ERROR: In /projects/viz/paraview/src/ParaView/3.98.1/ParaView3/VTK/Parallel/Core/vtkSocketCommunicator.cxx, line 735 vtkSocketCommunicator (0x205a6790): Could not send tag.
Users don't know - or care - what a socket is, a broken pipe is, or a tag is.
Just say that the server had died, and to look at the output of the server on the server side.
