PV 3.10.1 and development builds (PV commit b8eaf3cd) exhibits the following issue:
built-in server, --disable-registry command line option
- Sources / Wavelet / Apply
- Filters / Slice / Slice Type Plane / Z-Normal / Move plane widget beyond the bounds, e.g. to Origin 10.7;0;-10.7 / Apply
- Disable "Show Plane" checkbox
- Make Wavelet1 active object
- Make Slice1 active object
- Enable "Show Plane" checkbox
=> plane widget has been reset to X-Normal. additionally: clicking now on the Z-Normal button does not change the position of the widget, it remains normal to the X plane
The same happens for the clip plane filter:
- Sources / Wavelet / Apply
- Filters / Clip / Clip Type Plane / Z-Normal / Move plane widget beyond the bounds, e.g. to Origin 0;0;-10.7 / Apply
- Disable "Show Plane" checkbox
- Make Wavelet1 active object
- Make Clip1 active object
- Enable "Show Plane" checkbox
=> plane widget has been reset to X-Normal.
Tested with Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS bit and Solaris SPARC 64 bit.
