This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
I found a bug when I want to Save an Animation.
Mesh size: 650000 Elements
Version: Paraview 3.8.0 Operation System: Linux Fedora core 12
This is the sequence of operations I have done.
- Start paraview as client-server by using pvserver.
Load simulation, format EnSight Binary Gold.
Used Filters Temporal Interpolator. Value 0 Clip -> Clip Type : Plane Clip -> Clip Type : Scalar -> Scalars : Front Tracking Glyph -> Glyph type : Arrow Annotate Time Filter.
Choose on the Animation View: Mode : Sequence No. Frames :60
Click on Edit -> Save Animation -> I saved in local computer in format .png
On the terminal, this error occur.
/usr/local/bin/start_pvserver.sh: line 12: 21261 Segmentation fault /usr/local/cnrc/paraview3_8/bin/pvserver -sp=$1
An other tentative was tried without using pvserver. Using the sames operations.
/usr/local/bin/start_paraview.sh: line 14: 3538 Segmentation fault /usr/local/cnrc/paraview3_8/bin/paraview
This bug was reported by a student working with us. I did the same operation and this is a bug. (Odile Lemay)
