Periodic End Correction Option failed in TemporalShiftScale Filter
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
The Periodic End Correction Option in Temporal Shift Scale Filter doesn't seem to have any influence to the rendering. According to the vtk documentation ( http://www.vtk.org/doc/nightly/html/classvtkTemporalShiftScale.html#a6841f89f32bb3393bcaf14eae7c197ca ) one could choose between a 0,1,2,3...N,0,1,2,3... series and a 0,1,2,3...N,1,2,3...N,1,2,3 series. But regardless of the option in paraview, every time the latter series is applied.
I've attached an example, in order to demonstrate the problem:
- open the *.pvd file
- apply a TemporalShiftScale Filter: PreShift 0 PostShift 0 Scale 1 Periodic On Periodic End Correction Off (as the time steps 0 and 11 are not the same) Maximum Number of Periods >=2
As the time steps 0 and 11 are not the same, normally one would expect to turn Off the PeriodicEndCorrection. But even it is Off, there is a jump from timestep 11 to time step 12 (which is equal to timestep 1).
