The covariance scaling (!137) was not added for now because it lead to some failure cases. Anyway, we realized that the covariance does not represent the residual size nor the convergence state. As a conclusion, we think that the scale should be set experimentally depending on the environment and the sensor.

This should be retested on new data and with new updates in the future.
