Separate sandbox examples into stand-alone projects

The PR does the following:

  1. Separates the examples into different stand-alone projects
  2. Removes examples that are simple and do not demonstrate much
  3. Removes unnecessary resources for each example
  4. Adds a short description to the examples
  5. Conditionally build the examples that need an external device
