DavidRoss, the best way to "back up" a quiz in Canvas is to export it and save it - -13094-415263225 The advantage of this format is that it can be imported into any Canvas environment (even the free for teachers version of Canvas) and will import into a course and work as a quiz in Canvas.
Yet, if the teacher just wants a print back up of the quiz you could use the following - Print Canvas Quizzes UserScript. The disadvantage of this is that you can't put this back into Canvas and have it work. So it will download a copy, but this copy wouldn't be able to be imported back into Canvas.

We have added Paperscorer, a Canvas add-on, which gives us the ability to print our Canvas quizzes for a variety of purposes. We use this option for students who require special accommodations and also as an offline backup. As a bonus, the accompanying bubble score sheet will automatically score and record results (if students are taking quiz offline).

You can download Quiz results within Canvas to an external file. To do this, simply select the Quiz you want to review results for under the Quiz tab. Then, select the Quiz Statistics icon on the right-hand side of the screen.
Respondus LockDown Browser is a locked browser that prevents you from printing, copying, going to another page, or using outside tools during a Canvas quiz activity. Your instructor may have elected to use Respondus LockDown Browser enabled quizzes in Canvas, which require students to download and install a special browser prior to taking the quiz. LockDown enabled quizzes will not allow you to take the quiz on a standard browser.
You will only need to install the Yale-specific version of the Repondus LockDown Browser a single time. Once it is installed on your computer, you will be able to use it on all of your Yale Canvas quizzes that use Respondus LockDown Browser.
As Classic Quizzes moves forward with no new features being added, it is recommended that instructors begin exploring New Quizzes. You can still create, edit, and use Classic Quizzes. Canvas adds text to the end of the File URL that tells your computer browser to download the file. Respondus LockDown Browser does not allow this since it blocks downloads and other applications. To fix this, we need to remove the text (syntax) that tells it to download

If a user is logged into their Chromebook with their Scarletmail (Rutgers Gmail) account, then the App Store may be locked. Please log into your Chromebook with a personal Gmail account. The App store will be unlocked and you will be able to log into Canvas to complete your quiz or exam.
You can access the quiz statistics by going to quizzes and clicking on the anonymous survey. When viewing the survey details (but not editing the survey), you will see a bar on the right that has Survey Statistics and SpeedGrader.
Question banks will include Multiple Choice, Fill in the blanks, Matching or Essay type of questions. Delete questions that you will not be using, from the question banks. Delete the auto-generated quizzes. Create new quizzes from the Question Bank.
We have users who have multiple videos with quizzes, which is awesome! But it is tedious to go into each video's quiz results and download the Excel results file. Could we have a way to download the results for all videos in a folder?
As a possibility to consider, you could add it to the reports you can download from the Analytics page for a folder. From a UI / UX perspective, it doesn't make a lot of sense there because there's nothing on that screen about quizzing. But at least it is a place where you can download reports about multiple videos at once.
@david Howard , From what I understand all quiz results are part of an aggregate in one video. How about creating a Canvas quiz report so the total correct answers are imported into the Canvas assignment grade. No need for analytics here. -Quiz-Reporting
Hi Elba, I'll have to play about with some more of the settings, but at first blush I don't think this is quite what we're looking for. We have cases where a professor has 10-30 videos for their class in one Panopto folder. Instead of getting the quiz results for each video's quizzes into individual files, at least one professor would like to get a combined file for all of the videos in the folder.
If all you wanted was the scores, this could be done by going through Moodle (or Canvas); bringing each video's results into an individual gradebook column and then creating a report. But it seems a little roundabout, especially for folks who aren't big users of the LMS. And it seems possible that there is some information in the Panopto quiz results files that doesn't make it to the LMS.
