STYLE: Using configuration to access configuration

Robert M. O'Bara requested to merge bob.obara/truchas-extensions:updatingToWorkWithTypeContainers into master

Replaced a call to access the view configuration going through m_viewInfo with the configuration accessor - this will make the plugin work with SMTK UI framework which uses TypeContianers.
