Other known issues
Material properties
-
Shared material properties should be common/default values in the UI that can be overridden for individual phases (currently they are exclusive alternatives in modelbuilder). -
Density should ONLY be included in the common properties (not in phase) -
Users should be able to enter either specific_heat or specific_enthalpy_func. If specific heat is selected, then optional ref_temp and ref_enthalpy can also be specified (both constant, both default value 0.0) -
(BOB 1) specific_enthalpy_func should ONLY be a function. Need ItemView to disable the constant input -
(BOB 2T) Tabular view for specifying bodies, with columns for model entities, material, initial temp (Heat Transfer category), initial velocity (Fluid Flow category). In the future, the order of rows will be important. -
Inclusion of prescribed geometry, e.g. sphere or inside surface of sphere. More discussion needed.
Solid Fraction Function (for phase change).
-
(BOB 2T) Loading tabular data from csv file would be handy in many places - might be Truchas-specific. -
Copy & paste data into tables (lower priority)
Separate issues
-
#16 (BOB 3) Display all material properties but only validate those passing current categories
Other priorities
-
More documentation for workflow authors -
Numerous "fontconfig" errors when starting modelbuilder. => 200614 build used ENABLE_fontconfig but that did not resolve the issue. -
Update the "save materials" feature to only save currently-selected attributes -
Update the "load materials" feature to automatically resolve attribute name conflicts -
(BOB 5) Update heat transfer "Solver" view to use categories (removing the "Analysis Type" dropdown). -
ItemView to display radio buttons for discrete items -
Add an easy way to replace the mesh (.gen file), using exodus ids to reconnect attributes. -
Support multiple discretizations of the same model.
Attribute-configuration views
-
(BOB 4) User-customized views for attribute panels (visibility, opacity, representation, color as function of attribute assignment, etc.)
