Updates post smtk 21.07

Updates logic that calls the deprecated smtk::project::ResourceContainer::getByRole() method to now call the findByRole() method.

Second commit updates NERSC file browser to use the standard NEWT endpoint for listing directories in lieu of running "ls" command.
