CPack: Calling `cpack --help-variable-list` lists too few `CPACK_*` variables
When running cpack --help-variable-list
I get a large list of variables, however the one that are prefixed with CPACK_
is quite small:
CPACK_ABSOLUTE_DESTINATION_FILES
CPACK_COMPONENT_INCLUDE_TOPLEVEL_DIRECTORY
CPACK_CUSTOM_INSTALL_VARIABLES
CPACK_ERROR_ON_ABSOLUTE_INSTALL_DESTINATION
CPACK_INCLUDE_TOPLEVEL_DIRECTORY
CPACK_INSTALL_DEFAULT_DIRECTORY_PERMISSIONS
CPACK_PACKAGING_INSTALL_PREFIX
CPACK_SET_DESTDIR
CPACK_WARN_ON_ABSOLUTE_INSTALL_DESTINATION
I would have expected a lot more variables listed there.
Especially, because the generated CPackConfig.cmake
file has the following statement at the top:
# This file will be configured to contain variables for CPack. These variables
# should be set in the CMake list file of the project before CPack module is
# included. The list of available CPACK_xxx variables and their associated
# documentation may be obtained using
# cpack --help-variable-list
#
# Some variables are common to all generators (e.g. CPACK_PACKAGE_NAME)
# and some are specific to a generator
# (e.g. CPACK_NSIS_EXTRA_INSTALL_COMMANDS). The generator specific variables
# usually begin with CPACK_<GENNAME>_xxxx.
