Invalid value for CTEST_CUSTOM_TEST_OUTPUT_TRUNCATION silently ignored
In a ctest dashboard script, one can set the CTEST_CUSTOM_TEST_OUTPUT_TRUNCATION
value to control the type of output truncation. Valid values are tail
, head
and middle
. All three values work as advertised. If, however, you pass some other invalid value, ctest
does not complain and silently ignores it. There should be a warning or error to highlight the invalid value being used.
The original functionality was added in !6993 (merged).
