CPackDeb: Any way to pass -x flag to exclude a package?
I am using the CPack auto generate SHLIBS setting which works great and correctly lists my rather large dependency list. A problem is that it is tossing in a package that cannot be automatically installed (from nvidia cudnn-8) which breaks my software from installing with aptitude since it cannot locate cudnn-8 automatically.
Since many users go around package managers to install proprietary drivers I'd like to simply exclude this one entry without losing the beautiful auto-detection for the billion other dependencies my project has.
I searched and dpkg-shlibdeps manual shows a "-x" option which will exclude a package from the output. Is there a way to get this passed to the invocation of dpkg-shlibdeps? I looked for a commandline variable that I could just tack "-x" on to the end of but didn't find one. I also seen options for adding to the list but no way to remove something.
Please advise. I don't want to disable autogeneration yet I want to exclude a few things it found. Thanks for the time :)
