install DESTINATION computed (like install TYPE)
I'm writing an operating system which is configured using cmake, one of the things it does is it configures the install "boot" directory. This works great on its own, however, it has special handling similar to CMAKE_INSTALL_FULL_DATADIR (et. al). Specifically, if the prefix is /usr
or /usr/local
, and the specified boot directory (PHANTOMOS_INSTALL_BOOTDIR) is not an absolute path, then the directory chosen is /${PHANTOMOS_INSTALL_BOOTDIR}
. As far as I can tell, this behaviour is mutually exclusive with handling distinct configuration and installation-time prefixes. Is there a way of doing this, and if not, is there a reason something like this could not be implemented?
