Simpler approach to generate multi-platform support into same solution / Visual studio generator
To be able to add support for Win32 and x64 platforms into same Visual studio solution - I've run cmake two times,
one for Win32 using parameter -DCMAKE_GENERATOR_PLATFORM=Win32
, and second time for x64 using -DCMAKE_GENERATOR_PLATFORM=x64
.
Both generated solutions are in separate folders, and I can refer from one cmake to regenerated 32-bit project from 64-bit project
using include_external_msproject
function call.
Is there any simpler approach to do same thing - can I use only one run, and add projects in same solution for both - 32 and 64 bit components ?
My original intention is to compile same library for both architectures, so it would be possible to run same code on both architectures.
