Copy&Paste multiple CMake-Commands
Hi,
i'm not sure if it is an issue so i ask: Is it intented that i can not copy&paste multiple CMake commands into a command prompt on Windows?
I try a lot and many commands need to be executed again and again and again so i have a text-file with that stuff. If i copy&paste other commands as stack they get executed but if a CMake command is in that queue it stops after the first CMake command. Example:
- cd C:\projects && if exist swig rmdir /s /q C:\projects\swig
- mkdir C:\projects\swig
- git clone https://github.com/AlexanderGabriel/swig C:\projects\swig
- cd C:\projects\swig && if exist build rmdir /s /q build
- mkdir C:\projects\swig\build
- cd C:\projects\swig\build
- cmake .. -G "NMake Makefiles" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
- cmake --build .
- move swig.exe .. It stops after the first CMake command. This is a bit irritating because i always have to look and can't just send this and wait till the end. I work on Windows 10.
I found the same queston on stackoverflow (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47577501/discrepancy-in-copy-pasting-commands-run-asynchronously-vs-running-a-bat-file) but it didn't get answered. Just a workaround.
Thank you.
Kind regards, Alex
