error installing OpenCV
I'm trying to install OpenCv, I'm following a projects book I have and up to this point it has worked well. Prior to this I did the upgrade, update, installed the prerequisites, downloaded the OpenCv source and contribute files, Python development libraries, Pip and Numby all successfully.
Next was to prepare the source code for compiling. I entered these commands
cd ~/opencv mkdir build cd build
Also no problems, I enter this line
cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RELEASE\ -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local\ -D INSTALL_C_EXAMPLES=OFF\ -D INSTALL_PYTHON_EXAMPLES=ON\ -D
and got this error
CMake Error: The source directory "/home/pi/opencv/build/INSTALL_PYTHON_EXAMPLES=ON -D" does not exist. Specify --help for usage, or press the help button on the CMake GUI.
I wouldn't think that should be a directory so I assume it's something else, or is it. What's wrong with that line? Is it the capitalization, spaces or a wrong command? Is that supposed to be all one line?
Thanks John
