iOS Framework Development
This is an ongoing issue, but also a suggestion to fix. As of now, the way in which iOS Frameworks are built are different than the way in which OSX frameworks are built. As per the documentation, we can create a framework for iOS or OSX, and that works great. However, following the hyperlink on the documentation page, we can see that FRAMEWORK_VERSION is only valid on OSX. However, this is a real problem for "standard" iOS/OSX support. Although it is true that the iOS framework system doesn't use versioning, it should still follow the same format as OSX.
A couple reasons for this suggestion/bug are that in developing cross platform, it is often useful to have the same directory structure regardless of platform.
