Infer system includes from compiler
As far as I know, system includes are currently hard-coded. IMHO it would me much more convenient if those system includes where infered by cmake.
My exact use case is that i'm trying to generate an eclipse CDT project in a cross-compilation environment. The SDK is an artifact of our Yocto build and the build itself is not a problem.
However i've noticed, that in the generated .cproject
file that (- unlike for the native eclipse project -) the system includes are missing which causes eclipse's indexer to go all crazy about c standard library includes and basically renders the project useless.
For Linux environments it would be rather easy to do that, please refer to this and this SO post. However concerning portablility I don't know how to get those system include paths in OSX or Windows compilers.
