Docker Images/Instructions out of date?
Hi, I am trying to run the nvidia docker image to get a feel for async paraview.
<user>@cavali:~/sandbox/async-paraview-examples$ ./async/docker/nvidia/run-docker.sh ./async/python/rock.py
2023-08-02 09:43:56.895 ( 0.005s) [Parat ] vtkServicesEngine.cxx:145 INFO| vtkThalliumServicesEngine (0x556352d56e80): initializing session (sockets://)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./async/python/rock.py", line 16, in <module>
import async_paraview.venv
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'async_paraview'
I then tried (within the container, --entrypoint /bin/bash
)
cd /opt/paraview-async/runtime/lib/python3.8/site-packages
cp -r parat async_paraview
which gets me past the first couple of imports before failing:
paraview-user@cavali:/opt/paraview-async/runtime/lib/python3.8/site-packages$ /opt/scripts/server.sh /root/async/python/rock.py
2023-08-02 09:51:02.532 ( 0.005s) [Parat ] vtkServicesEngine.cxx:145 INFO| vtkThalliumServicesEngine (0x55f3006b0ef0): initializing session (sockets://)
ParaView is using venv: /opt/paraview-async/runtime/.pvenv
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/root/async/python/rock.py", line 29, in <module>
from async_paraview.modules.vtkRemotingServerManager import vtkSMProxySelectionModel
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'async_paraview.modules'
paraview-user@cavali:/opt/paraview-async/runtime/lib/python3
Are the docker images / instructions up to date? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you for your time.
