Annotation workflow through geometry resource (vs through annotation resource)
The "Attribute Editor" provides the opportunity to assign geometry resources to template annotation resources. This is one way to annotate, with annotation resource as the entry for the assignment.
Another useful strategy is to annotate as an operation on geometry resource (therefore geometry resource is the entry for the assignment). This can be achieved similar to invoking smtk::session::aeva::CreateAnnotationResource and smtk::operation::SetProperty. Yet, it will need to be linked to existing annotation resources to be able to choose them. e.g.
smtk::operation::AssignAnnotationResource, which will allow the user to pick existing tissue labels / organs / materials, etc.
