Proportional editing of vertex/node locations on meshes
Blender's proportional editing of surface vertices can be a useful tool for localized editing of meshes, e.g. by moving nodes along with those within a prescribed neighborhood. This feature is described in Blender's manual:
https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.79/editors/3dview/object/editing/transform/control/proportional_edit.html (Specifically, see description under "Edit Mode")
For aeva, a simplified version of this feature can allow picking a node, changing influence region, and move nodes in the influence region based on the movement of the main node (e.g., smooth falloff). Possibility to extend this from surface meshes to volume meshes may provide a path for interactive morphing of existing meshes.
