Creating AEVA scene/serialization file with unified data storage
AEVA scene/serialization file: original image scan, segmentation file, smoothing technique, segmentation technique, surface mesh, volumetric mesh etc
The goal is to create a scene/serialization file that can be used to track metadata for the files/datasets throughout the modeling process such that each stage is reproducible (a file format that can be used both in AEVA-Slicer and AEVA-CMB). For example, when given a volumetric mesh file which was created in aeva, the user should know:
- what MRI was used to segment the tissue
- the raw segmentation file names (.nii and .stl)
- the smooth stl file name, as well as what smoothing procedures were used, the mesh density, etc. ** tendons – quadriceps ** registration markers
A unified data storage between containers of images, individualized tissue meshes, and assembled anatomical representation should establish the links between datasets to capture parent/child/sister relationships.
