      This topic is the result of running clang-tidy to
      modernize our usage of NULL and 0 to nullptr. It also
      includes some manual and semi manual changes where
      clang-tidy would not be expected to work (such as in
      comments, or classes not compiled on this build)
      
      There are definitely many comments and occurances that
      this topic misses that we will need to fix over time.

      This commit reindents the code with the following utility:
      Utilities/Maintenance/vtk-reindent-code.py
      
      This utility changes the positions of the braces so that they are no
      longer indented relative to the code block they reside in.
      
      The bash command line used was the following:

      Fix vtkVolumeRayCastSpaceLeapingImageFilter split. · 4731b8f3

      This filter seems to have some bugs related to the increments it used
      to march through the data, which make it break when multithreaded.  A
      couple egregrious problems were fixed, but more seem to remain.  If the
      volume is only split along the Z axis, the bugs don't seem to manifest.

      Modularize VTK tree layout · cdd4d6fd
      VTK Developers authored
      Move source files from their former monolithic VTK location to their new
      location in modular VTK without modification.  This preserves enough
      information for "git blame -M" and "git log --follow" to connect
      modularized VTK files to their original location and history.

      Fixed some warnings issued by clang's -Wc++11-compat. These would be errors building as C++11. Changes are backwards compatible with C++98. Also fixed some nearby whitespace.

      Replace SetInput etc. with SetInputData etc. · 4ea36770

      Since the behaviour of SetInput changed - it no
      longer connects the pipeline but sets up the data
      object as the input -, it was decided to rename
      it to SetInputData. This includes similar methods
      such as AddInputData. This commit makes on
      sweeping change that compiles.

      This adds customized functions for traverising the input scalars in
      one pass to compute the min-max-gradient_max space leaping structure.
      Caching of the output to ensure that the entire output is not regenerated
      based on flags is also added. It was missing earlier.
