Selection is offset from mouse on Carbon render windows
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
I see a problem in OS X (10.5) Carbon where selections in a vtkRenderWindow are offset from the mouse position. I notice this most with the Infovis graph view examples because a rubber-band selection mode is part of the default interactor, but I can also see this in examples like Annotation/Tcl/annotatePick.tcl
The selection is offset from the mouse by the same amount as the render window upper left corner is offset from the upper left corner of the screen area (right below the menu bar). Attached is an image with four screen shots where you can't see the cursor, but I have dragged the mouse over the same are of the window -- I started my selection in the upper left corner of the render window and dragged to the black dot near the center. Notice how the selection rectangle is offset differently depending on where the window is placed before I do the selection...
This doesn't show up in ParaView or OverView, or when a QVTKWidget is embedded in a Qt application, just in a plain Carbon window. I haven't tried to recompile for Cocoa and see if it's there, too.
