CMake not using correct Python libs
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
VTK, CMake downloaded 20 April, 2004 at 03:00 UTC. I am using VC7.1
- When building the debug version, VC7.1 attemps to link python23.lib instead of python23_d.lib even though it has been specified in CMake. See point 5) for a work-around.
- When searching for python.exe CMake always selects the cygwin version even though it picks out the windows version for the Libs. So you have to manually change this.
- After running CMake the message"INSTALL cannot be added to the current solution because a project with the same name or a project filename exists in the solution."
- The release version builds Ok.
- The debug version will build of you add "C:\Python23\libs" to the "Linker|General|Additional Library Directories" line for each python dll being built for vtk. However this is not needed in the release version. In "Linker|Input|Additional Dependencies" the lib "C:\Python23\libs\python23_d.lib" is present.
