Window resizing not working with QVTKRenderWindowInteractor under Linux
Running the cone example embedded in QVTKRenderWindowInteractor.py:
(venv) [estan@newton corestudio]$ pip list
Package Version
---------- -------
h5py 2.9.0
numpy 1.16.0
pip 10.0.1
PyQt5 5.11.3
PyQt5-sip 4.19.13
setuptools 39.1.0
six 1.12.0
vtk 8.1.2
You are using pip version 10.0.1, however version 19.0.1 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.
(venv) [estan@newton corestudio]$ python3 -m vtk.qt.QVTKRenderWindowInteractor
On a Linux machine (Kubuntu 18.04, KWin). The window cannot be resized properly. I grab its edge and drag it, but the window just resizes a miniscule amount before stopping.
Doing the same on a Mac (macOS 10.14):
(tenv) dirac:~ insight$ pip list
Package Version
---------- -------
pip 10.0.1
PyQt5 5.11.3
PyQt5-sip 4.19.13
setuptools 39.0.1
vtk 8.1.2
You are using pip version 10.0.1, however version 19.0.1 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.
(tenv) dirac:~ insight$ python3 -m vtk.qt.QVTKRenderWindowInteractor
The resizing works great there.
Anyone had this problem with window resizing on Linux when using QVTKRenderWindowInteractor ?
@dgobbi @utkarsh.ayachit Do you guys know who's most familiar with that helper class?
