Nonsense return value from GetParametricCoords() in Python
I'm just looking into the vtk
examples for python. I've run a bunch of the examples without issue. I then tried this example from Lorensen's helpful vtk examples. It reports an error in the MakeQuadraticHexahedron
function, line 77. A little investigation reveals that the line pcoords = aHexahedron.GetParametricCoords()
returns the string '_000007fed5f42900_p_void'
. I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be an array of float
s, based on how it's used in line 77:
points.SetPoint(i, pcoords[3 * i] + perturbation[0],
pcoords[3 * i + 1] + perturbation[1],
pcoords[3 * i + 2] + perturbation[2])
The same error appears when running Python 3.6.2 on Windows 7 and Python 2.7.12 on Ubuntu 16.04 (Virtual Box).
